OK - so I'm accused of overanalyzing everything.
In the spring when the herring are around I fish plastic shads; in the summer I switch to small bullet jigs.
So - here I am, bragging about seeing herring by the zillions, snagging pogies left and right, I'm watchig bas push herring in the air and I'm fishing 2" long thin and light bucktail jigs?
Eh?
I think I'm going to be sharpening up the hooks on my shad jigs...
