Re: It was good, it was memorable

It was one of those magical weekends from start to finish. It started for me
Friday evening drifting Waquoit and picking up a few schoolies just for fun.

Saturday I had the pleasure of fishing with Carmelo and Greg Koch. It was a
great morning to be on the water, unfortunately we were unable to scare up
a fish. The downside is after playing with a fly rod in the salt courtesy
of Greg and Carmelo I have found another way of spending my hard earned
money. I picked up enough from my conversation with these two to get me started
down the road to flyfishing on the salt. Carmelo and Greg, we'll have to hook
up again next year and see if we can add fish to an "almost" perfect morning.

Unfortunately I missed the picnic, you see I have a confession to make. I have
become a fish-a-holic. I couldn't leave the water and spent the entire
day/evening over at the Vineyard and made a run down the Elizabeth's all the
way to Cuttyhunk. Spent time plugging Quick's and Robinsons's. Couldn't buy
a fish. Sunday the same story.

Until next year, when I hope to do a better job of putting faces to names -
but then again the problem will remain, there are fish out there waiting to
be caught.

Rick
