EEZ Opening

I heard a disturbing rumor that there is talk about opening the EEZ to commercial striped bass fishing. I heard Raytheon Corp. has hired a lobbyist and is pushing this hard. I'm ready to throw my crappy Raytheon unit in the drink if this is true. Anyone know what's going on?
