Out again tonight to practice "the cast". Lottsa wind, lottsa fly line all over the boat. Grrrrrrrr. Saw bass crashing bait in 2' of water..couldn't get close enough. In hind sight could've grounded the boat and waded, but I get to hyper when the depth gets less than 4'. Kept waiting for that awful twang noise the prop makes when it hits a rock I didn't know was there..... Anyway, I keep missing the strike cause I'm still into the casting thing and not really fishing. How long will I still be mesmerized by the act of casting and start paying attention to actual fiahing????
