It doesn't surprise me that the fishing was down a little this morning, it was slow but steady both saturday and sunday. Apparently, Friday was a bit of an aberration of the fall season, the other two days were pretty much business as usual.
You are right about the plugging. I still hit the plugs hard from April through May and late September into November. Right now though the chunking is just so consistent.
