My fishing buddy has a 218 Coastal which is on it's third season and has about
300 hours on the motor. You can tell the layout is well thought out. When you
need to do something, the item you need is where you expect to find it.
I guess the best description is that the layout is intuitive.

The boat has held up very well so far. Granted, it is not a Grady in terms of
overall quality, but it is a very good boat for the money. This model handles
4 foot seas without testing the scuppers, and that is the limit of
enjoyable fishing conditions for me anyway.
