I was out on the south end of the Rose & Crown two weeks ago, and at McBlair shoal the week before that. Both times we found spots that were full of bass and big bluefish. My boat's been out of the water with prop trouble for a week and a half, so I don't have anything more up-to-date than that.
If previous years are any indication, the rips east of Nantucket should be loaded with fish right now.
