That was too close Josko, I am really glad you made it out O.K.
I highly reccomend one of the Stearns inflatable vests (I was wearing one at the conclave)
I got one after loosing my footing briefly in the current at PI.
They hold alot of gear and aside from the occasional ribbing about the pullcord
(which says "jerk to inflate")I have found it to be convenient and as functional as any other vest.
(though a might warm during a hot summer day due to the plastic bladder inside)
Just something to think about, I am truly glad your O.K.
PS: Did you have Sputnik there? I have no doubt he would have pulled you out
