Fished the mouth of Westport river looking for albies. They were there on last 2 hours of incoming tide just outside of river along Horseneck in 10 feet of water
talked to a few fisherman that said they had been there at least a week .
couldnt hook them on bonito bunnys we had been succefully using past 3 weeks
scouted from goosberry to barneys joy where reports said they were but no dice.
they are there just dont know what they are eating .Anyone got the answer?
Friend caught a banded rudderfish? we think ? verticle bars ,looked like a jack and croaked .and a silly little windowpane flounder.
