I have used a Valentine many times,friend has one and we alternate tackle alot.
They are made in Norton oabout 4 miles west of Wheaton college
Great reel and they are a multiplier.No maintenance needed as my friend doesnt even wash it down and doesnt even consider oiling,and it works fine after many years .
