Haven't grilled it yet; sushi only, but the hunk I have is far too large to eat 1/16 oz. at a time as sushi. Glad I only got a 20 pound hunk :-).
Have you figured out how to get the smell of tuna oil out of your fingers? Touch the toro and the grease goes into your pores and stays there.
AS for tuna bacon - your absolutely right; with the thick belly skin, the layer of pure fat under the skin and the varigated belly meat, thats the perfect analogy.
