Count me in. I don't think of Nauset is the best early season spot, though, and I know we don't want anyone kayaking the mouth in the early season without extensive familiarity with the area, and then still probably not. The current really rips there wh
en the tide is going.

Pleasant Bay will be good if it gets fish early, probably up in the protected areas like Pochet and Barley Neck. Again, I'd rather not be part of a flotilla that launches at South Beach and lands in Portugal.

I think the best and safest early action for kayakers will be on the south side. The Falmouth ponds (Great, Green, Bourne), the Moonakis, Popponesset Bay or the Bass River in Harwich. Something like that.
