I've done quite well on a couple of occasions by launching at the ramp off Rt. 195 and working upstream to the Rt. 195 bridge. I typically pick the falling tide, flyfish the marsh edge for schoolies etc, and have yet to be skunked. I also ran into a mem
orable school of large blues in there last Sept. With a kayak, you can also get through the dam spillway (36" max width) above rt. 195 on a high tide for some fun largemouth and pickerel fishing.
