4/9 - MV over Memorial Day

I'm looking forward to a two-week trip to Martha's Vineyard on May 22-June 6.

I normally fish the usual spots (The Gut, South Beach, Eel Pond) and I'm

looking for some other possibilities. Specifically, I've read about the worm

hatch in Lake Tashmoo and I'm really interested. The new moon actually occurs

on Memorial Day, and I've heard that hatches may occur then.

What kind of fishing can be expected during that time? Will the larger stripers

start to arrive? Last year during the same period we caught a lot of schoolies

but no blues.

If anyone is interested in fishing at some point during that time please

get in touch with me. MV veterans would be especially welcome, as I am always

trying to find new areas to fish. Suggestions via e-mail would also be appreciated.

Can't wait to see those reports roll in this spring! This is a great web-

site and thanks to all of those who contribute.

Tom
