Urban legend, which I am actually ashamed to repeat, as I've probably heard it 4th or 5th hand says that rest stop is a rendevous spot for men wishing to meet other men. I deleberately wish to avoid loaded words or opinions here.
Again - this is something I have heard from others who have heard it from others; I have not stopped there in at least 15 years and have no personal knowledge of the facts
