You may want to try the campground In Westport MA.next to Horesneck Beach.
I think it's a state camp ground. They have sights on the beach and away from
the beach.
It is right on the beach with a public beach right next to the camp ground.
There is also goosberry island that you can walk to from the camp ground.
The stripers are in from the end of April until say October. The
blue fishing from the shore can be great. The blues usually show
around Memorial weekend give or take a week. Last year was a cold spring
and there were no blues Memorial weekend. The week following was hot.I have
also seen Tautog caught off of goosberry island. I think they start showing the
end of April.
I usually fish goosberry island. There is very little fishing pressure in the
area making it a pretty good location. Bring your waders if you plan to fish.
Especially goosberry island. The island is lined with huge rocks.
The beaches , well there your normal type of New England beach, sand.
