Let's face it folks you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure it out - what goes into the bogs goes into the water supply. I lived on the old Curtis bogs in Santuit in the early 70's and after the first time they sprayed my water had a slight tang
to it ( a little parathyone on the rocks with a twist) i hauled my water after that. I'm no defender of the base , but somebody should look at the cranberry industry .I think they are as responsible as the military for screwing up the water on the cape.
When I moved back to SE MA this year I stayed off the Cape for that reason ( and the fact that most of my old haunts have been developed or posted by carpetbaggers) so do your self a favor and protect your families drink bottled water (no I don't work f
or a water company) most filters don't remove pesticides or herbicides
