I have fished Orvis Breathables (Clearwater) stocking foot waders in SW since last summerl and see no signs of problems after one season...I rinse religiously after each wear (they're hanging in the shower now). They're light and easy to carry (fold int
o small bag), quick to don, and I layered up under them last fall/this spring and stayed warm. So far so good for me.

A friend of mine just picked up Cabella's new breathable wader, and they look great! They're a few bucks cheaper than Orvis, have reinforced knees and built in gators (Orvis has neither of those features). If I was to buy now, I think I'd go with Cabe
llas. (Orvis guarantee is 4 years fm date of purchase, not sure about Cabellas. .
