As a former 8 year resident of Maine, now stuck in Baltimore, I can offer a few suggestions for using your driftboat. A fishing guide/friend of mine while living in Maine had a drift boat and found a number of places to use it where it really helped out.
Here's a quick list of places he fished with it as well as a fewe others that I can think of. East Outlet of the Kennebec below Moosehead lake (landlocks), West branch Pennobscott below Rip dam (landlocks) (BE CAREFUL!!!), Kennebec river in Augusta (st
ripers), Kennebec from Skowhegan to Sidney (brown trout) (several dams along this stretch), Kennebec from Bingham to Solon (everything salmonid), Pennobscot below Veazie to below Bangor (salmon and stripers). Closer to home (yours) I'd check out the lowe
r reaches of the Saco and Androscogin for stripers. I hope this list is enough to get you started. For specifics on these waters feel free to drop me an email.

Regards,

Eric Lund
