Dave; First bright fish were caught here on Nantucket on Thursday April 16th at the Hither Creek opening into Long Pond. I caught three on Yellow/Yellow soft-Hackeled Streamers on a five-weight. The fish ranged from 10 to 14 inches and were really beauti ful. Spin anglers were very successful along with long rodders on Sunday at the opening of Miacomet Pond where catches above one dozen per angler were common on the evening tide.
