Bournes Pond was alive at dusk and early night with bass popping on a flat calm pond. I only hooked 2, one of which was an agressive 22-24" chunker, which had been chowing down on something recently as it had a bulging belly. However the pond was explod
ing with fish here, there and everywhere. The weed was almost as intense otherwise it would have been fat city.
My soul feels far better now; having heard the music of bass feeding at night for the first time since last fall.
