Saturday fished the rte 28 bridge just outside the Bourne Marina and picked up several decent (20-24") stripers lurking around the bridge supports. Absolutely plenty of bait in the water. Worked the maritime academy ship (along the hull) letting the incoming current drive the fly under the hull before stripping it back in. Fish on virtually every cast 20 plus range. Sunday, mid afternoon on an outgoing tide, we found birds working the large flat below Mashnee (on the East side of the Canal) with large stripers a plenty working on the surface. Lasted for 1/2 hour with no fish under 20 inches before tide eventually went slack and feeding abated. Still have not seen a Blue fish this season in this area. Am I loking in all the wrong places?
