Don't have logs handy, but the best fishing I've ever had in NH was at the
jetty in Hampton one sunny afternoon in October. A huge school of large
stripers had herring pinned to the jetty. Most were pretty big. Last year no
big fish showed up, so ya never know for sure, but Sept. and early Oct. are
my favorite times to be out; nice weather, no crowds and hungry fish. Bring
big flies and a sinking head.
