Am going to Chappy for the upcoming weekend. Have never been there before and my hosts expect me to furnish dinner one night. Will be fly rodding but am bringing spinning tackle in case the wind is up. From Phil Horton’s post it sounds like the east beach rockpile is the place to be. Is it difficult to find? Have never caught a bonito (or albacore or Spanish mackerel for that matter), pretty sure I can identify them. What are the size regulations? Any additional tips on where and when would be much appreciated.
Will try to remember to bring my Reel-Time t shirt and see what it provokes.
