Bill,

So you have also spent some time in black fly country. I have made that drive many
times in my younger days chasing salmon from Jackman to Greenville. Some beutiful country
up there.

Montana was just great. It took awhile to get back to casting size 18 dry's on a
4wt, but one day two of us had 20 browns up to 24" on the Beaverhead. We also
fished the Madison, Firehole and did some belly-boating on some high country lakes.

I would be interested to hear from anyone that has done belly-boating for stripers!

Bucksport, even I don't go that far north for stripers! I posted the name of a
shop in Bangor as a reply to someone inquiring about Eastport, Me. that could probably
help. No-one like you should ever travel that far in Maine without fishing gear!

You may want to hit Popham beach and Morse river on your way back, (rt 209 /Bath) or Cape Elyzabeth,
Pine Point, Biddeford Pool, Scarborough Marsh, Mousam River. All ten minutes off the
Pike south of Portland.

No - I'll bet the house you can't get from here to there without putting line in
water.

If you need more info or directions drop a line to my email.

Mike T
