Scene: hendrickson spinner fall on a small upstate New York trout stream. I am hooking trout aftr trout on the old rusty spinner. This kid is fishing downstream of me and I can tell he is getting frustarated because he is not getting any strikes in the middle of these feeding fish. He wanders up to where I am and inquires as to my success. I just reached into my box and handed him the proper fly and he them proceeded to get a few nice trout. As I was leaving he had a bent rod. this kid was abot 14 or so and I was pleased to have help[ed somebody get a good start flyfishing.
