Just saw the picture - that is a huge bonito.

Different question - I noticed on Sun as you wwre piloting Tom into pods of fish that he was false casting as you were idling into position. Whats the technique here - get the line moving early so when the boat stops you can aim and try to drop the fly into the boils?

If so - whats the direction the cast is aimed at? I've found that to have an effective first cast; you have to be casting (fly or spin) at somwhere about 30-60/300-330 degrees to counter the boats forward momentum. cast straight
forward and you lose control of the retrieve; cast either directly to port or starboard and the line starts to drag behind the boat, putting a poor presentation on the jig or fly.
