I too fish from the Keowee, actually a 2 seater. My fishing has been limited to
the lower potomac river and short trips from shore in the chesapeake bay for strippers.
A friend of mine and I are considering a trip to New England the first week of October.
We are considering bringing our kayaks but are a little leary of the "big" water. When you fished from
the Keowee did you use a spray skirt? Also, how big of waves were you fishing in? Did you feel an anchor is necessary?
Can you recommend some places to fish?
