Did anyone go to the meetings last September. At those meetings Phil Coates said that the mortality rate of larger stripers was too high and that the fishery managers would look at ways to lower mortality on larger bass. Now there plan is to have people k
ill more fish. Makes sense to me after all I think OJ was framed and that Clinton is just misunderstood.
Seriously, look back at your catch records for the 1990's. Does anyone else beside me see a reduction in the numbers of larger fish once the 28" size, increased bag limits, and commercial fishing started.
The hearings are @/23 at the Fuller school in Glouster and 2/24 at the Mass Maritime Acadamy in Buzzards Bay. I urge you all to go and express you opinion. Be very vocal.
