Poppers

This weekened has ben popper manufacturing weekend.

I'm using the hard foam pencil popper blanks w/ a pre-cut slot that is too
small. Reaming it out w/ an exacto knife didn't work as the exacto knife didn't have enough oomph to penetrate the hard foam.

I ended up literally whittling the slot to size by using the sharpened point of a 5/0 eel hook. Other technique's I have tried are to melt the slot wider
by heating a hook and impressing it in place.

Once I get the hook in the slot I'm epoxying it in place.

I'm curious if anyone has any advice as to better means of getting the hook
tightly into the slotted popper, and once there, what the bets glue is to hold it there.
