As to the striper in every month, several of us over here on the island have taken stripers in each month beginning last April. Should the ice hold off, 12 in a row is possible. We have an advantage in that there are landlocked bass in several of our ponds. There are also schoolies in Long Pond which is open to the salt. January 11/98 **David**
