It's not what, it's where. I caught maybe a dozen fish this morning on that very same creek. There were a couple of other guys fishing there, too, who seemed nice enough until I heard one of them say "Ray did well here last week".

"Ray Greco?"
"Yeah, do you know..."

So, Ray, I fished with your friends. [and they are in fact nice guys]. Even at the honey hole there seemed today to be just a couple of spots and just a couple of presentations that worked, but those worked at times on every cast and mostly for your friend Rick.

Only a couple of fish bore the scourge of lymphocisis [which I will someday learn to spell]. Early in the incoming they were smaller, fish of better than 16" came later in the tide. Getting down was key, with sink tips and clousers being the preferred method.

Now that I'm on the boards for January, I'm going to spend the rest of my month fishing other places and figuring out how to catch holdovers that everyone else doesn't also know how to catch or find. This may mean no more fish until February when I need to go back to a relatively sure thing, but I never have an actually bad time crawling around Cape Cod estuaries trying to figure stuff out.

Oh, and Dave...I'll send you an e-mail.
