#1 Where to go ?

I'm not quite sure what you mean by 'the boston area'
but almost any wet place was good last year.

#2 What to use ?

#1 a small bucktail size #1 or #2. Since you're a landlock
fisherman, you probably know the pin smelt and black nose
dace flys. A Black nose dace pattern tied on a saltwater
hook was my most productive fly last year.

#2 1/0 bondreau bucktail
#3 2/0 back deciever or similar dark fly
#4 2/0 sand eel
#5 2/0 white and chart clouser
#6 yellow popper or skipping bug

#3 One piece of advice

Dont make a retrieve. Drift your flys. (this is one reason why
I dont use clousers too much - they drift like a set of car keys)
