I know that Norhtport powerplant is a little out of the way from new england waters but I saw some interesting things on some striped bass I caught today. Some of these bass had what looked like bight marks on there tails it was almost like something was eating them away. Another striped bass barely had a tail. Now I have seen the white fungus on striped bass but this was different. My question is what exactly are these striped bass problems. It is dangerous to even handle these fish?
