Ray,

Let me know about the trip, that sounds like a lot of fun.

The Taunton river may be able to support striper breeding. The water is silty, but is now very clean and really provides a MASSIVE area of relatively undisturbed breeding territory. They say 40"+ stripers are the prime breeders, i have heard of a few being caught in the Taunton river and realistically, how many people fish there?--not many.

Ray, what do you think of the river down towards the dighton area, that would probably be a good spot to fish. How are the currents in a canoe? I would worry about ending up in the ocean as you get down closer to the new bedford area!
