Yowser - an hour or so after I started it stared back at me! What a monster
of a fly.
Question to anyone who has tied them regularly:
Whats the proper hook size to use? I used a 1/0 and found that my head was
truncated because I didn't have enough room after hi-tieing in all the bucktail pieces.
Should I be using a 1/0 or 2/0 long, or should I be upsizing to a 3/0 or 4/0 hook?
The magazine says use a 5/0, but that seems huged to me..
