I'm planning on fishing Monomoy sometime between 7/19 and
8/2. I've never fished here before. I contemplating taking
a guide or not. I spoke to Keith Lincoln @ Rip Rider and he
said if you know how to fly fish and can read water, you
don't need a guide. He would help get you started on structure
and and danger areas. I would appreciate any feedback from
others who have fished here. For a days trip I would bring plenty
of water, lunch, compass, fly gear, waders etc.. At this time of
year can you wet wade with flats boots? Thank-you in advance.

Tight lines,
Gary Morrissette
