Ken,

Clousers are still working. Try olive. Also try the half and half flies, they've been working. Haven't used the long wand there this week, but the bait in the river is juvenile herring, sand eels, etc. Also found out the other night that there are small crabs. Got bit on the thigh while wet wading. Maybe one of those rattle crabs that Rich Benson gave the pattern for in Saltwater Fly Fishing Magazine this month will do the trick.

I'll be trying to get my fishwire report posted early to help you guys planning your weekend. No, honest, it isn't because I'm trying to get away. It's really just a coincidence that I've got reservations at Waquoit Bay for the weekend... ;-)

Last time I fished the incoming, the fish were hitting VERY close to the bar. Remember to throw a few in short, like ten feet out, just in case. Hope the crowds aren't too bad. We'll be looking forward to your report.
