fished hilton point park 6/30 in am . saw a baiter have some runs no hookups.schoolies were out off boat ramp about 50 yds.
couldnt reach with fly rod from dock or rocks at corner.this was at the height of the incoming tide.
no action once tide shifted. afternoon went to sagamore river bridge,where you can see the navy yard across the chanel. got bored
with flies switched to cut mackeral on a spin outfit.had a bunch of bumps no hookups.finally hooked a cow as tide started back
in, i at least saw it roll once then snap.......great day anyway. im determined to get my first stripper on
the fly.tight lines!!!
