Alan,
Good news and bad news:
first the bad-
I dont know where you relocated from but my bet would
be you'll see a distinct decline in the quantity
and quality in your trout fishing.

Its not that there arent trout in some boston area ponds
and rivers, its just they are a pale shadow compared to
the real thing. I've tried but its not worth it.

Now the good -
The boston area out to 495 and beyond is loaded with small
ponds and lakes. In addition there are a number of significant
rivers as well. Most (but not all) offer public access at one
or more sites and almost every wet spot holds lg mouth bass.
Skip looking for trout and focus on bass.

Now for the even better news -
Forget the ponds and lg mouth bass and head to the ocean's shore.
Truely stupid people are catching lots of fish and some of them
are big.

If you insist on fishing fresh water, drop me a line and tell me
the area you're interested in - I may have a suggestion
