Stu, Yes I usually do fish off my boat. There have been lots of stripers in
Plum Island Sound and the Rivers. I'm not an expert but it seems the fish are
moving around alot chasing unusually large schools of baitfish from Middle
Ground up to the Parker river. I was catching nice fish a few days ago from
the boat (unusual for me) but I haven't had any luck surf casting from shore.
So, the fish are here, keep trying and good luck. Donna
