Dear Bob, were you fishing in a boat or from shore??? My friend and I were in R.I.
on Sat. morning and fished Quonny pond, the Lighthouse, and Napatree point on the
Pawcatuck side of the point. We couldn't even buy a fish all day. We got there at 4:00
a.m. and fished the incoming at Quonny first and fished Napatree last, there were fish
breaking at Quonny and I managed to raise two but didn't hook either. The rest of the day
was a complete bust, although there were tons of sandeels in the Pawcatuck with birds working them
but no fish. Oh well I guess that's why they call it fishing not catching! Next
time I'm bringing the boat for better luck hopefully..........Thanks in advance for your reply!!!!
