Today was a slow day on the river. Perhaps the cooler weather over the past couple of days slowed the fishing. I fished around the breakwater, can #7, mouth of Lieutenent River, along Great Island and Griswold Pt. After all that searching I ended up catching three 18" to 22" schoolies at Griswold Pt.
I have been away and have not fished here for a week. A week ago Monday I had an incredible day, along with two other people we boated at least 50 fish. Has anyone fish the mouth of the river with success this past week? I will be going out again on saturday.
