I was in Maine for my brother's wedding last week and fished off Moody beach in Ogunquit on Saturday afternoon. I was walking the beach, casting an olive/white clouser when I hooked a fish about 30 feet in front of me in maybe 2 feet of water and a moderate surf. Expecting another striper, I was amazed to see I had caught a nice 5-6 pound sea-run brown trout. I've seen plenty of them in the Ogunquit River, but never expected to hook one right in the surf. Has anyone else had this happen?
