Fished Essex area on 6/13 for about an hour in the early morning. The bait was there but I had no action. Moved down along Great Island in Old Lyme and found a lot of action which included a couple of keepers. One of the large bass took a chart. slider. The other fish took 5" white deceivers. Unfortunately a t-storm moved into the area about 8:30 am. so I decided to quit.
I think the warm weather of the past week has caused the fish to move down river.
