Looking for tips to fishing the Glades / Scituate

Fished the Glades in Scituate last night (6/5/98). HIgh tide around 8:20PM. Walked all the way out to the last cove on the right, then out to the point. The wind was howling. Plugged for a while, got desperate and threw a chunk of pogie. Nothing but

wind. Walked around the point to get out of the wind. What a bueatiful area. I'm a relative newcomer to the surf (caught the bug last summer, full blown infection now). This area looks to me like big bass nirvana, but I've fished it four times now (on

ce this year) and have nothing to show for it but tired legs and frayed nerves worring about my car being towed from the Minot Light resturant parking lot. I'd appreciate any advise on how to fish this area from the shore.
Arrived at the Back river in Weymouth / Hingham and took a 22" on a swimmer at about 10:00. Lots of guys fishing both sides of the river from the 3A bridge down to where it opens up in Bare Cove.
Out with the fiancee tonight, but I'll be on Scusset Saturday night. I'll post a report Monday.
