I need some advice on what tackle to bring on vacation to the Chatham area. I usually fish the Outer Banks of NC so I have a ton of gear cause you never know how the day to day weather is going to be. Sooo,do I need to bring heavy surf gear for 150 yd.+ t
hrows or will 7-9 ft.(12-15lb.) be enough for the blues and rocks. Everything I've heard sounds great about the area, can't wait to see it for myself.
