Did my own version of the death march today, nine hours for maybe six puny schoolies.
Hingham to Cohassett to Scituate to Marshfield and all the way back again.
Saw no signs of bird or bait activity anywhere!
Weir River, score zero.
Cohassett " Secret Beach," score zero.
North Scituate, Score zero, although I did watch several big bass follow the fly up, along with some nice sized bluefish....I swear they were pointing at me and laughing! Had one real good hook-up, went to set the hook better, actually tied the index fing
er of my left hand right down tight to the rod! Try and do that! Met lots of nasty " Summer Locals'" today in Scituate too....it seems that, " No Parking Season," started Memorial day weekend.....Don't even think about the Glades....they threatened to lo
ck the gate on me!
Adam & Mikes, " Super Secret North River Hole," Score one schoolie, and one big one continually following the fly in....Looked suspiciously like that one in Scituate who was laughing at me......
Back to North Scituate, no visible action, thought I'd try anyways....chased away by yet another Scituate Summer Resident...What a friendly town!
Back to Cohassett, fished the outfall long enough to land a few more schoolies.
Where have all the fishes gone? Two weeks ago you couldn't relieve yourself in the water without hitting a bass....
I've got a friend coming in tomorrow from western mass...I'd sure like to find a few more fish for him than this.....Can anyone help put us on some fish tomorrow? I'd sure appreciate it....
