Launched at Wareham today after ignoring the forecast of 30knot winds and not being able to sit aroud and wait any longer.

Well at the west end of canal it was quite calm thanks to land mass and dike.

Interresting was a white perch bigger than I have ever seen at M&D .Does anyone know where these are caught this time of year?

And speaking of M&D check out his new line of fly gear ,he has the lowest prices in the country on Sci -Angler ,and Penn in the country. So good I just had to buy a new reel. Check him out.

At Mashnee there were a lot of fisherman trying for fluke and some doing well.

The stripers were just about everywhere I went from Wareham to Onset and into canal, nice sizes up to about 2 feet and a few blues mixed in that stole away my hand crafted clousers :(

There were clouds of very small bait at end of dike and a small clouser olive or chatruse with white did the trick .Have been trying poppers lately and what I am showing them doesnt seem to work very well even though they pop and gurgle like they should ,
any ideas ? I will keep trying new types till I get it figured out

as this is definitely more fun with the added visual explosion.

And anyone interrested in scup they are doing very well at Bird Island , a good place to keep a bunch of youngsters very busy.

See you on the water
