Sorta like Mets/Red Sox around here. One night I get blanked 1-0, the next day I'm pounded. Except it's fishing and we don't keep score, right?
Anway, did the Rivermoor to ocean midnight circuit at the mouth of the North River with Neal K. on Friday. He managed a schoolie in the surf. I didn't. I did have one puppy turn on the fly while it was dangling in the surf and I was clearing a tangle,
but it wasn't even big enough that I felt bad for missing it.
This morning fished Stage Harbor in Chatham with Ray Greco. Gorgeous dawn followed by a grey morning, conditions as perfect as you could want on an incoming. I caught several stripers by the end of the day, but you could hardly notice that I did a thing
as Ray was hooked up more or less non-stop from before sun-up until about 8. The bastid.
Well, I took my 5 yr old boy to the Sox game tonight, so if there are any major paralells at work here I'm due for a real good outing sometime soon.
